Christopher M. Phillips, Associate Attorney

Born and raised on O‘ahu, Chris Phillips is a graduate of Kalaheo High School. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Oregon University in Business Administration with a minor in Economics.

Chris earned his juris doctorate from the William S. Richardson School of Law. While in law school, he was the captain of the Texas Young Lawyers Association trial team which competed in national mock trial competitions. Chris was also a team leader for the Hawai‘i Innocence Project, working towards the exoneration of those who had been wrongfully convicted in Hawai‘i’s state and federal courts. Chris also worked as an intern with the State of Hawai‘i Office of the Public Defender where he assisted in numerous jury and bench trials.

Prior to joining the Law Office Of Alen Kaneshiro, Chris was a law clerk to the Honorable Todd W. Eddins, Hawai‘i Supreme Court.
